We are seeking an experienced Out-of-Network Negotiator & Corresponding Resource to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare reimbursement, contract negotiations, and resolving out-of-network billing disputes. Experience working in Texas is essential, as you will be handling claims and negotiations specific to the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate out-of-network reimbursement rates with providers, payers, and facilities.
- Review and resolve billing disputes, underpayments, and denied claims.
- Familiarity with Texas Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance policies.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies, medical providers, and patients.
- Ensure compliance with Texas state regulations and payer policies.
- Analyze fee schedules, contracts, and reimbursement trends.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide detailed reports.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in out-of-network negotiations or medical claims resolution.
- Texas-specific experience (knowledge of local payers, regulations, and billing practices).
- Strong understanding of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and reimbursement methodologies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently.
