We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Specialistto lead and manage our IT operations and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud computing, Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure, virtual machines, desktops, backup services, Microsoft 365, and DevOps practices. This role involves managing the IT team, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and ensuring the efficient operation of the organization's IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Computing and Infrastructure

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Oversee the configuration and maintenance of virtual machines, desktops, and network resources.
  • Monitor cloud performance and ensure high availability and scalability of services.

Backup and Disaster Recovery

  • Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery solutions to protect business-critical data.
  • Ensure regular testing of disaster recovery plans and compliance with industry standards.

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Ensure seamless integration and performance of Microsoft 365 tools across the organization.

DevOps Practices

  • Lead the implementation of DevOps methodologies for efficient deployment, monitoring, and operation of software applications.
  • Automate processes and workflows to improve system reliability and reduce manual interventions.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop IT team members to ensure a high-performing and cohesive team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

System Security and Compliance

  • Implement robust security measures to protect IT systems from vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate IT standards.

IT Strategy and Innovation

  • Stay updated with emerging IT trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve business operations.
  • Lead IT infrastructure projects and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in IT management, with expertise in:
  • Virtual machines and desktop environments
  • Backup services and disaster recovery planning
  • Microsoft 365 suite administration
  • DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible).
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of networking, system security, and IT infrastructure management.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator/Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified, or DevOps Engineer are highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and proven leadership capabilities.
