As we expand, we are looking for an experienced Truck Dispatcher with a strong background in truck dispatching to join our team.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Dispatcher with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the USA truck dispatching industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of load planning, route optimization, and carrier communication to ensure smooth and efficient transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and schedule truck drivers for timely pickups and deliveries.
  2. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and brokers to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Monitor truck locations, route progress, and ensure timely deliveries.
  4. Utilize dispatching software to track loads, update schedules, and provide real-time support.
  5. Negotiate with brokers and shippers for competitive freight rates.
  6. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety policies, and company standards.
  7. Resolve any operational issues, including delays, breakdowns, and load cancellations.
  8. Maintain accurate records of shipments, fuel usage, and driver hours.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers, carriers, and customers.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns professionally.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. Minimum 4 years of experience in truck dispatching within the USA.
  2. Strong knowledge of the trucking industry, load boards, and freight markets.
  3. Proficiency in dispatching software (e.g., DAT Load Board, Truckstop, or similar platforms).
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  7. Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
  8. Must be detail-oriented and organized.
  9. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  10. Experience in working with owner-operators and fleet management is a plus.
