About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst for an 18-month contract (parental leave cover), based in Perth or Melbourne Support Office.

You will join a collaborative Mobile Apps Team dedicated to evolving our mobile app offerings for Bunnings Team Members.

As part of the Store Platforms Apps team, you will facilitate changes to Bunnings' team member apps and services to meet business goals and strategies.

In this hands-on role, you will analyze existing business processes, products, services, and systems, identify needs, and drive solutions for improvement and efficiency.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and delivery squads to define requirements and ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Eliciting business and customer needs through stakeholder discovery
• Creating and maintaining requirements artifacts like Epics and User Stories
• Identifying risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
• Facilitating interactions with the delivery team for solution planning and prioritization
• Supporting Product Owners through discovery and delivery phases
• Clarifying requirements and managing defects, risks, and enhancements
• Promoting Business Analysis practices within the organization

You have expertise in analyzing business processes, products, and systems, and in driving solutions for improvement.

You thrive in agile, outcome-driven teams, are self-motivated, enthusiastic, and project-oriented. Your experience in eliciting, analyzing, and validating stakeholder needs has led to success.

You possess commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and time management skills.

You are a creative and effective communicator, passionate about meeting project needs.

Requirements:

• Experience in Business Analysis or similar, with technical analysis experience preferred
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation
• Experience with business, process, data, and workflow analysis, especially for mobile apps
• Ability to break down work into manageable stories
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
• Experience working within agile delivery frameworks
• Workshop facilitation skills
