Junior Advisor: Crisis, Conflict, Disaster
  • Job Title: Junior Advisor: Crisis, Conflict, Disaster
  • Supporting the implementation of inclusive policies and procedures in the assigned area of responsibility to avoid systematic biases or discrimination
  • Actively engage in on-going self-reflection and continue to advance their knowledge and skills related to diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Support in development and in implementation of inclusive suitable methodological approaches in the assigned area of responsibility to avoid systematic biases or discrimination
  • Setting up events and workshops and coordinating with relevant stakeholders, consultants, vendors, hotels, implementing partners and logistic and finance staff
  • Support the line manager and technical advisors in setting up the processes, mechanisms and tools related to low thresholds Psychosocial Support (PSS) activities to achieve the high quality of results
  • Support the line manager and technical advisors in monitoring and analyzing the psychosocial needs and behavioral change of the target groups in close coordination with the implementing partners
  • Coordinate PSS activities and initiatives with implementing partners and consultants
  • Support the technical advisors in setting up Safe Spaces for vulnerable groups and coordinate with logistic and administration staff
  • Support the technical advisors in drawing up reports, presentations and translations of training and information material on high quality
  • Support in the development or coordinate the production of material on PSS for the interventions in line with GIZ standards and guidelines
  • Support with developing contributions for electronic media and other PR related products according to GIZ and Development Cooperation Standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Education, or other relevant field
  • Up to one year working at the community level and with refugees, organizing workshops & events
