As a Senior People & Culture Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organizational culture and driving talent development strategies across multiple levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Resources, with a proven track record of success in workforce planning, talent management, and succession strategies. They will be able to partner with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and build strong relationships across departments.

The Senior People & Culture Coordinator will oversee national P&C strategy implementation and compliance with IRC and local labor regulations. This includes leading the annual compensation review and advising on reward strategy and pay scales.

They will guide end-to-end talent acquisition, onboarding, internal mobility, and exit management processes, ensuring seamless integration with finance and payroll teams.

A key aspect of this role is fostering a continuous learning culture through coaching, mentoring, and structured development opportunities. The ideal candidate will identify leadership development opportunities and support career growth pathways for team members.

The Senior People & Culture Coordinator will work closely with Country Director and Regional People and Culture Director to drive the delivery of key P&C strategies, services, and infrastructure nationally. They will serve as a strategic partner, advisor, and coach to ensure a safe and welcoming culture for all people, organizational performance, and efficiency and effectiveness of work processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement national P&C strategy aligned with IRC standards
  • Liaise with senior management to drive strategic workforce planning and talent management initiatives
  • Oversee P&C operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and exit management
  • Foster a continuous learning culture through coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with regional support teams and country counterparts to implement Gender Equality, Duty of Care, and Safeguarding strategies
  • Provide career coaching and development advice to team members
  • Ensure compliance with IRC and local labor regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience
  • Demonstrated success in workforce planning, talent management, and succession strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
