About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experiencedBackend Developerwith 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust backend systems. The ideal candidate should be based inPakistan, available for ahybrid work model, andflexible to travel to Abu Dhabifor on-site client engagements lasting 2 to 3 months periodically.
You will play a key role in building scalable APIs, managing cloud-based infrastructure, and working with various database systems in a microservices-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalableRESTful APIsfor enterprise-level applications.
  • Build and deploymicroservicesusing modern backend frameworks with a strong emphasis on performance and maintainability.
  • Implement containerized applications usingDockerandKubernetes.
  • Write unit and integration tests using relevanttesting frameworksto ensure code quality and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps, and data engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Optimize backend performance and ensure security compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Maintain and work with various database technologies includingSQL,NoSQL, andVector databases.
  • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications incloud environments(compute, serverless, networking, storage).
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:
Software Engineering:
  • Proven experience in backend development withPython(preferred) orNode.js.
  • Strong understanding ofmicroservices architectureandRESTful API design.
  • Experience withcontainerization toolslikeDockerand orchestration withKubernetes.
  • Knowledge oftesting frameworks(e.g., PyTest, Mocha, Jest) and test-driven development practices.
Databases:
  • Hands-on experience withSQL,NoSQL(e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB), andVector databases(e.g., Pinecone, FAISS).
Cloud:
  • Experience deploying and managing applications oncloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or GCP), includingcompute services, serverless functions, cloud databases, andnetworking components.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Experience integratingmachine learning modelsinto production-grade applications.
  • Understanding ofsecure coding practicesand application-level security standards.
  • Familiarity withevent-driven architecturesand message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Other Requirements:
  • Travel Flexibility:Willingness and ability to travel toAbu Dhabifor on-site work for durations of2 to 3 monthswhen required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a distributed team environment.
