Accounting Associate Position

A Summary of the Role:

The Accounting Associate will support accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and complete tasks in a timely manner. This role involves processing financial transactions, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end closing procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Process financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting matters.
  • Support tax preparation activities, depending on qualifications.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must be a CA Finalist or hold an ACCA Affiliate/Member/Degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP or Ind AS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or XERO.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Availability to work in the US Central Time Zone.
