ONE Technology Services: We are looking for a Data Engineer for one of our partners in the USA to monitor the Snowflake jobs and alerts and re-run or action on the jobs. Looking for a candidate strong in SQL and who has experience working on Snowflake or other ETL tools.

The hire will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a strong grip on SQL and has experience working on Snowflake or other ETL tools. The incumbent must be an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up.

Educational Qualification/ Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.

Job Description

  • Strong in SQL with experience working on Snowflake or other ETL tools.
  • Extract and analyze data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites.
  • Respond to data inquiries from various groups within the organization and create regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.
  • Document reporting requirements and processes and validate data components as required.
  • Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software.
  • Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
  • Create data tools that assist in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), and familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Hadoop, SAS Data Management, Singer, etc.
  • Experience in designing and implementing improvements to the warehouse's structure or adding new features as needed to support changing business requirements.
