Truck Driver Vacancy in Karachi, Pakistan

Position: Entry-Level Truck Driver

Job Description: As an entry-level truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across Karachi and surrounding areas. You will operate a large commercial vehicle, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. This is a contract position with a monthly salary of $1000. A biometric passport is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Safely operate a heavy commercial vehicle on designated routes
  2. Load and unload cargo efficiently
  3. Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs
  4. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
  5. Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  6. Coordinate with dispatchers for route planning and scheduling

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license in Karachi
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug tests
  • Physical ability to load/unload cargo and operate heavy vehicles
  • High school diploma or equivalent; graduates preferred
  • Good communication skills

Working Conditions: This physically demanding role involves long hours of driving, loading/unloading cargo, and exposure to various weather conditions. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
