Job Description: Night Call Centre Representative (Online/Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Answering and responding to customer inquiries and complaints via calls and emails during the night shift.
- Providing excellent customer service by actively listening to customers and offering prompt and accurate solutions.
- Demonstrating exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Updating customer information and call logs.
Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a detail-oriented truck dispatcher to dispatch our drivers to customer locations. Your duties will include communicating with customers to record requirements, planning and adjusting routes, and scheduling drivers for freight, shipments, and packages.
To succeed as a truck dispatcher, you should have extensive experience in dispatching trucks and the ability to work under pressure. An outstanding dispatcher demonstrates organizational skills that translate into exceptional freight delivery services.
Truck Dispatcher Responsibilities:
- Scheduling drivers for freight deliveries and pickups.
- Communicating with customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
- Planning routes and adjusting as needed.
- Preparing dispatch documents, freight bills, and invoices.
- Maintaining records of calls, routes, and delivery times.
- Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and laws.
- Reviewing driver logs and dispatch records.
- Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Logging customer shipping schedules and complaints.
- Knowledge of trucking regulations and laws.
- Understanding shipping, trucking, and logistics processes.
- Analytical skills for problem-solving and coordination.
- Handling upset customers effectively.
- Proficiency in transportation management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly.
