Medcare MSO is one of the largest USA-based Healthcare IT organizations in Pakistan, with 950+ employees. We implement best practices and adopt state-of-the-art technology tools to achieve results. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to work with our agile development team. Responsibilities include developing new modules, enhancing existing systems, and other tasks assigned by product owners within the scrum team.

You will join a collegial and professional team, collaborating and exchanging domain knowledge and expertise.

Position: Senior Software Engineer (EHR or EDI)

Shift timings: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Location: Lahore (on-site)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software products/modules based on business requirements provided by the Business Analyst.
  • Follow the Software Development Lifecycle within an agile framework.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements.
  • Communicate key project data to team members and foster team cohesion.
  • Review requirement documents and provide technical feedback.
  • Create innovative solutions to meet technical needs.
  • Test software and fix bugs collaboratively.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in Healthcare IT, specifically Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices and web APIs.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL, including writing SQL scripts used in software products.
  • Deployment on IIS and troubleshooting IIS are preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
