Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Officer will be based in Lahore and will work under the supervision of the Project Manager (PM). The Project Officer will oversee the overall management of the project, including planning, implementation, coordination, and follow-up of project activities. The role requires close collaboration with the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer for activity monitoring and coordination with the Finance Assistant in Islamabad for administrative and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills, with a focus on ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives.

  1. Assist the Project Manager in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  2. Oversee the implementation of project activities in accordance with the approved project plan.
  3. Ensure that project activities are executed efficiently and effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  4. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and community members, to ensure smooth project implementation.
  5. Follow up on project activities to ensure timely completion and address any delays or challenges.
  6. Maintain regular communication with the Project Manager to provide updates on project progress.
  7. Establish and maintain close liaison with the M&E Officer to monitor project activities and ensure compliance with project goals and objectives.
  8. Collect and analyse data to track project performance and prepare reports for the Project Manager.
  9. Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  10. Manage administrative tasks related to the project, including documentation, record-keeping, and reporting.
  11. Ensure that all project-related documents are properly filed and maintained for future reference.
  12. Coordinate with the Finance Assistant in Islamabad to manage project finances, including budget tracking and expense reporting.
  13. Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including partners, beneficiaries, and government officials.
  14. Represent the project in meetings, workshops, and other events as required.
  15. Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their active participation in project activities.
  16. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  17. Assist in the preparation of donor reports and other project-related documentation.
