Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Consultant to lead our equity fundraising efforts. The candidate should have a proven track record of securing funding for software companies, with strong knowledge of equity financing and experience in preparing compelling fundraising documentation. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of navigating the fundraising landscape. The consultant will develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, manage the fundraising process, and secure investment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the company\'s goals and portfolio.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, projections, and valuation analyses.
  • Create and refine investor-facing materials, including pitch decks, executive summaries, and due diligence documents.
  • Identify, target, and engage with potential investors, including venture capital firms, angel investors, and private equity groups.
  • Lead and manage the fundraising process, from initial outreach to closing the deal.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with potential investors, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities and trends.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the executive team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Must have a proven track record of successfully securing equity funding for software companies. Please provide specific examples and results.
  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the venture capital and private equity landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing compelling documentation for fundraising, including pitch decks, financial models, and due diligence materials.
  • Experience managing and creating award-winning materials is a plus.
Compensation

Compensation: Fixed fee for services rendered, plus a percentage of the total funds raised. The specific percentage will be discussed and agreed upon based on the scope of work and the terms of the fundraising agreement.
