Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Specialist to ensure product quality through manual testing, bug reporting, and verification. Ideal for those starting or growing in software testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results
  • Document and report bugs and issues
  • Collaborate with development and product teams
  • Develop and maintain test plans and cases
  • Perform regression testing and contribute to process improvements
  • Design comprehensive testing strategies covering all software aspects
  • Automate tests using scripting languages like Python
  • Recreate and report issues effectively
  • Provide usability and documentation feedback

General Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Understanding of SDLC and STLC
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow

Technical Requirements

  1. Experience in writing test plans and cases
  2. Knowledge of QA methodologies and processes
  3. Strong reporting skills (written, visual, vocal)
  4. Experience reading logs and debugging
  5. Familiarity with Chrome DevTools, APIs, JSON, XML
  6. Knowledge of MQTT protocol and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB
  7. Proficiency in Javascript, Python, bash, and shell scripting
  8. Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
  9. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
