Assistant Vice President (Business & Operations)

Soft Tech Consultants is looking for an experienced and results-driven Email Marketing Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in email marketing, automation, and CRM, with a focus on Salesforce Sales Cloud to help drive customer engagement, retention, and sales growth.

Responsibilities

As the Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns that align with our overall marketing and sales strategies. You will leverage Salesforce Sales Cloud to integrate customer data, build targeted segments, and deliver personalized email content that drives conversions and fosters long-term relationships. You will collaborate with various teams including sales, product, and design to ensure email campaigns are aligned with business objectives and deliver maximum ROI.

  • Develop, execute, and monitor email marketing campaigns, including automated journeys, newsletters, and promotional emails.
  • Create and segment targeted audience lists to personalize email communications.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to craft compelling email templates that align with the brand's voice and strategy.
  • Utilize Salesforce Sales Cloud to design workflows, manage customer journeys, and monitor campaign performance.
  • Maintain and update contact lists, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Integrate third-party tools or plugins with Salesforce to enhance campaign capabilities.
  • Oversee backend email infrastructure, ensuring domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC) is correctly configured.
  • Monitor email deliverability rates and resolve bounce, spam, and unsubscribe issues.
  • Conduct regular account audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Analyze performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, and implement improvement strategies.
  • Manage subscription preferences and adhere to CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email marketing laws.
  • Proactively identify and address account health risks, including reputation management and IP/domain blacklist monitoring.
  • Generate and share comprehensive reports on campaign performance, highlighting insights and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to the Business Development team based on data analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7-8 years of experience in email marketing, with a strong focus on email campaign management and automation.
  • Proven experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud or other CRM systems to segment audiences, build email flows, and track campaign performance.
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and deliverability optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and optimize campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, lead nurturing, and customer journey mapping is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist).
  • Familiarity with advanced Salesforce Sales Cloud features, such as lead scoring, opportunity tracking, and pipeline management.
