Overview

Capital & Projects Lead- Pakistan Cluster. This role leads capital projects and infrastructure development across Pakistan, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while maintaining high safety and compliance standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, external partners, and local authorities is essential. Candidate attributes include proactivity, attention to detail, and a passion for driving impactful change.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of core capital projects & regional programs across all Pakistan sites to meet EHS, Quality, Supply and Sustainability objectives
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and GSK policies
  • Recommend feasible technologies and solutions to meet business objectives, maximizing capital efficiency (cost-effective equipment, L2L solutions, etc.)
  • Support site engineering head to build capital and project management capabilities within the site
  • Coordinate with global SMEs, procurement category managers and align strategies and solutions
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to achieve project goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and government authorities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Monitor project performance and report progress to stakeholders regularly
Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial etc.)
  • 5-8 years of experience is required for this role
  • Proven experience managing capital projects or infrastructure development
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse teams
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives in infrastructure projects
  • Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams
