Capital & Projects Lead- Pakistan Cluster

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead capital projects and infrastructure development across Pakistan. You will ensure projects are delivered efficiently on time, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Collaboration is key—you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and local authorities. Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of core capital projects & regional programs across all Pakistan Sites to meet EHS, Quality, Supply and Sustainability objectives

- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and GSK policies.

- Recommend feasible technologies and solutions to meet business objectives maximizing capital efficiency (Cost effective equipment, L2L Solutions for equipment etc.)

- Support site engineering head to build capital and project management capabilities within site

- Coordinate with global SMEs, procurement category managers and align strategies and solutions
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and government authorities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Monitor project performance and report progress to stakeholders regularly .

Qualifications/Skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial etc.)

- 5-8 years of experience is required for this role.
- Proven experience managing capital projects or infrastructure development.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes.
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives in infrastructure projects.
- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
