Key Project Leadership Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned project manager to oversee and manage various projects within our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the supervision of verification, cross-checking, and approvals as per financial powers and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring timely issuance of job cards for distribution and transmission projects.
  • Develop the Annual Capital Expenditure Budget through discussions, meetings, and evaluations, aligning with the objectives set by management and OGRA parameters for Transmission and major Distribution projects.
  • Promote Financial Feasibility analysis for pipeline projects, taking into account P&D / Sales department data input, government guidelines, and ECC decisions.
  • Ensure closure of Projects Section with allocations of revenue overhead at Company level to all relevant projects on a periodic basis.
  • Design and prepare Various Schedules related to Projects Section to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Perform Aging Analysis for ongoing distribution and transmission projects.
  • Support Audit teams regarding queries related to annual and interim audit.
  • Resolve ERP issues related to projects module and suggest improvements in the system.
  • Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
  • Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
  • Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Supply Chain Management from a recognized HEC university or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the relevant field OR
  • ACCA with at least 6 years of relevant experience OR
  • CA/ACMA/CIMA with at least 4 years of post-membership experience.
