Better Devices is a product-first embedded systems studio based in Berlin, now growing our presence in Islamabad. We partner with ambitious teams to transform bold product ideas into scalable, real-world embedded solutions. From IoT to industrial automation, we build the core technologies that power the products of tomorrow.

We're now looking for our first Sales Lead—a founding team member who will take the reins on growth and client engagement as we expand in the region.

What You'll Do

As our first dedicated sales hire, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how Better Devices connects with new partners and builds lasting relationships. You'll work directly with founders, engineers, and clients, and be deeply involved in crafting the future of our business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Owning the sales process end-to-end—from outreach to closing and beyond.
  2. Developing tailored sales strategies that clearly communicate the value of embedded systems to technical and non-technical audiences.
  3. Engaging prospects through a variety of channels—email, phone, LinkedIn, in-person meetings, and more.
  4. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, simplifying complex technical solutions into actionable value.
  5. Building deep, long-term relationships that drive both new and repeat business.
  6. Using market insights to identify trends, refine messaging, and expand our footprint.
  7. Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to ensure client needs are met.
  8. Laying the groundwork for a scalable, high-performing sales team in Islamabad.

You Might Be a Fit If...

  1. You have 3+ years of experience in B2B tech sales, ideally with exposure to embedded systems, hardware, or IoT.
  2. Experience with US and EU markets.
  3. You're fluent in communicating with clarity and confidence.
  4. You've got a strong track record—hitting targets, closing deals, and building partnerships.
  5. You're analytical, proactive, and highly organized—comfortable managing pipelines and reporting through CRM tools.
  6. You're excited by the idea of building something new—helping shape the future of a growing studio from the ground up.
  7. Bonus: You've built or led sales teams before, or want to grow into that role.
