Job Title: Lead Full Stack Engineer (MERN Stack)
Location: Islamabad, Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan (Remote to start, then Hybrid)

We are searching for a product-minded Lead Full Stack Engineer to architect, build, and lead the development of our entire user-facing platform, from the database to the final pixel.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
As the technical owner of our web platform, you will be responsible for all aspects of its design, execution, and the team that builds it. You are a builder of great products and great teams.
* Architect the Platform: Take full ownership of our web application architecture, making critical, long-term decisions for our MERN-based stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
* Lead the Engineering Team: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of full-stack and frontend engineers. You will be responsible for their technical growth and output.
* Set the Standard: Establish and enforce best practices for the entire development lifecycle, including coding standards, rigorous code reviews, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD processes.
* Be a Hands-On Leader: Remain deeply hands-on, leading by example to architect and build the most complex and critical features of the application alongside your team.
* Drive Technical Strategy: Partner with product leadership, design, and other engineering leads (e.g., ML, DevOps) to translate the company vision into a tangible technical roadmap and deliver elegant user experiences.
* Own Technology Choices: Evaluate, debate, and select new technologies, libraries, and frameworks within the JavaScript ecosystem to keep our platform modern and efficient.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications)
* Experience: 8+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering complex, large-scale applications from scratch.
* Leadership: Demonstrable experience leading a software engineering team, including hiring, mentorship, setting technical direction, and project management.
* Full-Stack Mastery: Expert-level proficiency across the MERN stack. Deep, hands-on experience building scalable RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js, coupled with mastery of React for the frontend.
* Architectural Vision: A deep understanding of system design, software architecture patterns, and building scalable, distributed systems in a Node.js environment.
* Database & Cloud Expertise: Strong, practical experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, including data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning. You must have experience deploying and managing applications on a major cloud platform (AWS preferred).
* DevOps Mindset: A strong appreciation for DevOps principles and experience working in an environment with robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

* Deep expertise with TypeScript on both the frontend and backend.
* Experience designing and building APIs with GraphQL.
* Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
* A public profile showcasing your passion for technology (e.g., a blog, open-source contributions, conference talks).
