Moreover, you'll be an inspiring mentor, addressing knowledge gaps within your team. Leading by example, you'll guide your team in designing, optimizing, and validating cutting-edge AI solutions that meet both technical and business needs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Shape and guide the AI strategic vision at Ignite, ensuring it aligns with corporate objectives and industry trends.
  • Spearhead innovative AI R&D efforts, empowering your team to unlock new potential and drive forward-thinking solutions.
  • Design, refine, and validate high-performance AI solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching your team to master advanced AI methodologies.

What You Won't Be Doing
  • Managing existing AI projects; your focus will be on shaping AI's strategic direction at Ignite, not just executing tasks.
  • Engaging in purely theoretical research; your skills will be used to address practical business challenges.

Head Of Artificial Intelligence Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a robust AI strategy that aligns Ignite's AI endeavors with the company's broader business objectives.

Basic Requirements
  • Extensive experience in AI and technology sectors, with a significant focus on AI innovation, project leadership, and team management.
  • Proven track record of leadership, having effectively led and mentored AI teams in dynamic, innovative settings while driving projects aligned with business goals.
  • Advanced skills in generative AI, including the utilization of multiple AI tools, automation of workflows, and custom GPTs; limited experience with LLMs for research, learning, or content generation is insufficient.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in Python, with a comprehensive understanding of AI and machine learning technologies and their business applications.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
