About Scrift

Scrift is an AI-driven software solutions company specializing in enterprise-grade AI tools, custom web and mobile development, UI/UX, and automation for business efficiency. We work with global clients in the USA and KSA across healthcare, fintech, retail, and SaaS.

We are now building a high-performance business development team and are hiring an experienced Upwork Bidder who knows how to win.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled bidder who can own the entire Upwork proposal lifecycle. From identifying the right job to closing the deal, you will be responsible for driving revenue from the Upwork channel with precision and consistency.

This is not a learning role. We need someone who understands the nuances of Upwork's algorithm, how to personalize proposals, and how to pitch AI or software services with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify high-fit jobs in AI, Web/Mobile Development, UI/UX, and Automation
  • Write compelling, client-specific proposals that drive replies
  • Handle client communications during the pre-sales phase
  • Collaborate with our tech, design, and marketing teams for custom proposals
  • Track and report on bidding success, win rates, and conversion
  • Maintain and optimize Scrift's Upwork agency profile
  • Meet weekly bidding and outreach quotas
  • Conduct light discovery or qualification calls where required
Requirements
  • 2+ years of dedicated experience bidding on Upwork
  • Proven record of winning mid to high-value projects ($2,000 and above)
  • Strong written English with a clear, structured writing style
  • Ability to understand client pain points and shape service offerings accordingly
  • Familiarity with Upwork's ranking system, job score, and response timing
  • Deep understanding of how to position digital services in AI, SaaS, design, or dev
  • Comfortable working in a structured sales environment with reporting expectations
  • Based in Karachi and available for full-time onsite work
Good to Have
  • Prior experience in an AI, SaaS, or product-led company
  • Ability to work with technical team members to scope timelines and pricing
  • Experience using CRM or deal tracking tools
