We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to assist in ensuring a safe, secure, and healthy work environment across our premises. This role involves overseeing the placement and functionality of safety equipment, facilitating compliance with health and safety regulations, and liaising with government authorities for safety drills and emergency preparedness.

This position requires developing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategies & policies to minimize occupational risks, including diseases, injuries, and lost hours. The incumbent will oversee the procurement, placement, and maintenance of safety equipment in coordination with vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and international standards.

Responsibilities
  • Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments for high-risk areas such as working at height, transportation, electrical work, equipment maintenance, fire prevention, and pandemic response.
  • Safety Protocols and Compliance: Promote the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols. Organize HSE training, drills, and information sessions to foster a safety culture in collaboration with relevant government health and safety departments.
  • Crisis Management and Emergency Response: Handle crisis situations effectively and work collaboratively with security agencies and regulatory bodies for security and safety measures.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Establish a reporting mechanism for accidents and incidents to ensure timely action. Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits, including machinery and tools.
