Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Manager. This position is crucial in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment across our network.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enforcing health, safety, and security standards, coordinating with vendors for safety equipment, organizing training and emergency drills, ensuring regulatory compliance, and acting as a liaison with law enforcement agencies and relevant government bodies.

This role supports the Executive Manager – Security & HSE in all related operational, strategic, and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification: Develop and implement strategies to minimize occupational risks including illness, injuries, and downtime.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with regulatory bodies for audits, inspections, safety drills, and certifications.
  • Safety Training & Emergency Planning: Organize and lead training programs, safety drills, and awareness sessions to promote a strong internal safety culture.
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Crisis Management: Liaise with government departments and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and emergency preparedness.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in security, safety, or HSE-related roles, preferably in financial institutions.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Security Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Certifications (Preferred): NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.
