Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

The Digital Auxilius team is seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our software testing efforts and ensure the highest quality of our products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute technology strategies that align with overall business goals.
    • Lead and mentor high-performing technical teams, driving collaboration and innovation.
    • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training for team members.
    • Drive planning and execution of software development projects, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Act as primary technical liaison with clients, providing solutions and ensuring seamless communication.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive business growth.
    • Implement and oversee robust software quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance and excellence.
    • Collaborate with security teams to develop and implement cybersecurity measures.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of hands-on testing experience, including writing and maintaining test plans, scripts, and manual test execution.
  • Strong collaboration experience with developers, preferably with a computing degree background.
  • Experience in mobile manual and automation (Appium) is recommended.
  • Proficiency in automated test platforms such as QTP/Selenium and familiarity with a range of open-source test tools at unit and system test levels.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, releasing, and providing after-sales QA support for web and mobile application projects.
  • Testing expertise in both legacy environments and newer technology products based on web services and e-commerce.
  • Hands-on experience with bug reporting and tracking, load testing, performance testing, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing tools.

Job Status and Schedule

This is a full-time position, working onsite in Karachi from Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM.
