Compliance Engineer Position

 

Job Purpose:

  • Provide support to the Engineering Department in documentation, audit, and compliance actions.
  • Coordinate with Engineering stream members for maintenance management systems.

 

The role involves leading day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring maximum availability of spares to maintain timely maintenance, and managing the overall functioning of the store and store inventory. 
 

Optimize machine availability and reliability by developing a preventive maintenance plan.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure adherence to processes, including audits, deviation, and corrective action management, GES/ES/EP Compliance, Trainings, Quality Management System implementation, Change control, Engineering Alerts, and risk management & CMMS.
  2. Champion the Quality Management System/EHS framework, embedding quality and safety management principles within the Engineering department.
  3. Manage technical Engineering documentation, such as Global Engineering Standard Implementation Process, EP & ES Standards, EHS/Engineering Alert Process, Self-inspection process, etc.
  4. Manage Department Governance process, including councils and Engineering Governance Meetings, to ensure Engineering remains compliant with Safety and Quality standards.
  5. Coordinate audit-related activities and gap analysis to ensure all external and internal audit activities follow audit guidelines.
  6. Governance of the site's maintenance management system, including timely closure of preventive maintenance & corrective maintenance workorders, PM plan adherence, Site Annual Maintenance Plan reviews, Maintenance and Calibration Schedule of all departments, and effective implementation.
  7. Review, analyze, and recommend equipment maintenance strategies and/or asset care with both engineering and operational teams to reduce the impact of unplanned maintenance.
  8. Ensure in-house systems and practices improve the efficiency of the stores environment, providing potential and seamless support to the Engineering department.
  9. As a document controller, maintain the list of documents, repositories, inventory, and issuance of documents in the department.
  10. Coordinate with document owners for document revision/preparation and coordinate with the documentation SME/record champion at site for destruction.
