Key Account Manager Role

Job Overview:

  • The Area Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to drive business growth and achieve sales targets in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and strategies for volume delivery and sustainable growth in the area;
  • Monitor daily/weekly business performance;
  • Increase numeric and weighted distribution of Unilever Brands and SKUs;
  • Achieve Intelligent Quantum and Field Capability Score KPI's on monthly basis;
  • Stock management and ensure secondary CCFOT as per given targets;
  • Ensure quality of sales and distribution;
  • Implement all new Initiatives and category specific plans;
  • Increase direct coverage versus relevant universe;
  • Achieve perfect store and all visibility initiatives KPI's;
  • Ensure customer's required finances and Profitability (ROI);
  • Train and develop Territory Managers;
  • Resource allocation;
  • Optimize utilization of IT tools;
  • Customize distribution models as per need basis;
  • Territory and outlet management;
  • Implement Joint Business Plan and regular reviews to ensure compliance;
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on competitor activities;
  • Ensure best practices of warehousing and FIFO at both distributor and trade;
  • Follow audit guidelines by Unilever;
  • Share Unilever Safety discussion points and recommended behaviors through TMs;
  • Ensure that distributor operations and processes are safe and are guided by Unilever safety policies and principles.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree is required, candidates with MBA will be preferred;
  • At least 3 – 4 years of sales experience is required.
