Job Description

Ensuring Quality Excellence in Production

We are a global company committed to protecting, healing and nurturing in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world. Our purpose defines why we exist: to make access to hygiene, wellness and nourishment a right and not a privilege.

In our Research and Development department, highly skilled talents work together to create a cleaner, healthier world. We continually seek out new opportunities by using science, innovation and entrepreneurial flair to develop and enhance our existing portfolio, never compromising on quality or performance.

Our organisation prioritises responsibility and integrity, ensuring compliance with regulatory legislation across the globe while guaranteeing our products are safe for consumers and meet the highest quality standards.

The role oversees product release decisions, quality systems, audits, CAPA and regulatory compliance while driving a strong QA culture. Key responsibilities include managing quality processes, inspections, deviations, change controls and customer complaints, alongside ensuring smooth NPD/EPD transitions into manufacturing.

This requires strong leadership, regulatory expertise and the ability to balance compliance with operational pressures to safeguard product quality, safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance of QA activities with local regulations, GMP and global policies.
  • Authorise final release or rejection of finished products as per SOPs and Drug Act requirements.
  • Establish, maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) and related procedures.
  • Approve executed batch records and certify production batches before release.
  • Implement product quality and validation plans to ensure robust manufacturing and packaging processes.
  • Conduct internal audits, support GMP audit programs and oversee inspection/testing plans.
  • Ensure effective deviation handling, CAPA and change control processes.
  • Review and approve Annual Product Reviews (APR) with corrective action plans.
  • Monitor adherence to quality control procedures during every production step.
  • Investigate customer complaints and identify preventive measures to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Maintain batch history records, finished product/raw material samples and quality documentation.
  • Analyse quality data, track KPIs and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with supply and regulatory teams to uphold QA culture and standards.
  • Ensure smooth transition of NPD/EPD projects into manufacturing operations.
  • Lead and develop QA teams while fostering a positive, compliance-driven culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications include Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) or Bachelor's in Pharmacy (minimum requirement). At least 7 years overall experience is required, with a minimum of 5 years in quality control and testing of drugs.

Preferred qualifications include MBA/MPhil or equivalent business-related degree for added leadership and management exposure. Strong understanding of product safety, quality, efficacy and compliance risks is also essential.

Regulatory knowledge is crucial, including clear knowledge of relevant regulations such as Drug Act 1976, DRAP Rules 2012, ISO standards and ICH guidelines.

Benefits

At our organisation, we value diversity and inclusion. We support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.

We invest in the wellbeing of our people through parental benefits, an Employee Assistance Program to promote mental health, and life insurance for all employees globally.

Our commitment to equality ensures that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, disability or medical condition; colour, ethnicity, race, citizenship, and national origin; religion, faith; pregnancy, family status and caring responsibilities; sexual orientation; sex, gender identity, gender expression, and transgender identity; protected veteran status; size or any other basis protected by appropriate law.
