The position of IT Test Manager is a critical role within our SAP transformation programme. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all testing activities, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with established standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and refine the Test Strategy to ensure it remains effective and relevant throughout the programme.
  • Provide guidance and support to local test leads, empowering them to understand and implement the test strategy.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to promote adherence to testing best practices and foster a culture of quality within the team.
  • Engage with local business teams to identify and meet their testing requirements, working closely with vendors as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive SIT and UAT plans, including scope definition, data and resource allocation, and execution timelines.
  • Oversee the completion of all testing deliverables, such as execution plans and RTM documents.
  • Coordinate with the PMO to review and obtain approval for test deliverables.
  • Review and approve test governance documentation, including test plans, reports, and RTM documents.
Required Expertise
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in SAP testing, including SIT, UAT, and automation testing (TOSCA).
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to drive testing phases effectively.
  • Understanding of Waterfall project management methodologies as they relate to testing.
  • Practical experience with testing tools, such as ALM.
  • Knowledge of SAP business processes and systems.
  • Experience managing tests in SAP or similar ERP deployment projects.
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Capability to multitask and work independently in a global environment.
  • Program and project management certifications, such as Prince2 or PMP.
