Test Lead Role Overview:
\
> This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in SAP Test Management. The ideal candidate will lead testing activities across a global programme, ensuring seamless integration with business teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy aligned with the programme's objectives.
  • Collaborate with local test leads to establish a unified testing approach.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business teams, vendors, and project managers.
  • Provide guidance and support to local test teams, ensuring they meet testing requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Define and manage test scope, timelines, and resources, including data and personnel needs.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of testing deliverables, such as SIT & UAT execution plans and RTM.
  • Ensure timely coordination and review of test deliverables with the PMO.
  • Manage test governance documentation, including Test Plans, Test Reports, and RTM.
  • Maintain accurate status reports, defect logs, and run rates.
  • Communicate test health, risks, and issues through RAG status reporting.


Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on SAP testing, including SIT, UAT, and automation testing (TOSCA).
  • Proven leadership and organisational skills to drive testing phases effectively.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall project management methodologies and their application to testing.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools like ALM.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP business processes and systems.
  • Successful track record of managing tests in SAP or similar ERP deployment projects.
  • Ability to build rapport with senior stakeholders and communicate complex information confidently.
  • Capacity to work independently in a global environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Prince2 or PMP.
