Customer Relationship Representative

Our company is seeking a skilled Customer Relationship Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with potential customers through effective communication and rapport-building skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent telephone sales and communication skills, with the ability to convert prospects into clients and close deals. You should also have solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing ongoing rapport with potential customers using excellent telephone sales and communication skills;
  • Maintaining and expanding our database of prospects by conducting research to find new leads;
  • Cold-calling and emailing prospects to qualify the lead and identify decision-makers to begin the sales process;
  • Educating and informing prospects about our service offerings;
  • Receiving inbound prospect calls; answering questions and offering suggestions based on a thorough knowledge of our product line; qualifying prospects prior to offering a site visit to emphasize product/service features and benefits;
  • Cross-selling and up-selling existing customers via telephone and email;
  • Overcoming objections of prospective customers;
  • Collaborating with Sales and Business Manager to determine necessary strategic sales approaches and develop calendar of activities to continually improve results;
  • Providing prompt and courteous customer service;
  • Adequately communicating brand identity and corporate position;
  • Attending periodic sales training where applicable;
  • Being a Key Team Player and assisting all sales team where needed for the success of the entire Sales Team;
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Direct work experience in a sale, tele sales or Lead Generation capacity;
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals;
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management;
  • Strong problem-identification and objection-resolution skills;
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers;
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong written communication skills;
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm;
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures;
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team;
  • High level of integrity and work ethic;
  • Creative thinking.
