Job Title: SBCC Community Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SBCC Community Engagement Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective SBCC strategy tailored to community needs and cultural context to address immunization barriers.

About the Role
  • Develop a comprehensive work plan aligned with Immunization Schedule timelines for districts and ensure timely execution.
  • Manage all SBCC and advocacy activities in districts under the supervision of the Program Lead.
  • Implement, monitor, and report on SBCC and advocacy activities following provided guidelines and training.
  • Determine training needs of staff and train frontline workers, community mobilizers, and local health staff on interpersonal communication and community engagement.
  • Conduct regular field visits to support and monitor SBCC activities in all districts.
  • Develop tools and establish a mechanism for recording all SBCC-and advocacy related activities during the project duration.
  • Identify key indicators on SBCC data and conduct analysis to inform training modules.
  • Provide regular feedback on SBCC & advocacy activities to the Program Lead on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders as needed and ensure timely provision of all SBCC related materials in all districts.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of SBCC principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

A Master's degree in Communication, Social Sciences, or a relevant area is required, along with 5-6 years of experience in SBCC and advocacy related work.
