The role of a Patient Services Coordinator involves providing administrative support to patients, ensuring smooth and efficient interactions with medical staff.

Key responsibilities include scheduling appointments, preparing reminders, and maintaining patient records in the electronic medical records system.

Patient Service Coordinators also assist with insurance verification, pre-authorization processes, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.

They serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy, and escalate complex concerns to the appropriate medical staff or departments.

Office Coordination

Effective coordination is essential in this role, involving daily workflows to ensure timely communication between patients and medical staff. This includes aligning schedules with medical providers and organizing tasks to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Work Experience: A minimum of 02 years of experience in telehealth is required, preferably in a healthcare company in the UK or US.

Skills:

  1. Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record systems.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  3. Proficiency in using scheduling and communication tools (Microsoft Office, telehealth platforms).
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  6. Critical decision-making skills.
  7. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and data entry skills.
  8. Empathy for patients' needs.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel.
  10. Experience working with electronic medical record software.

Education: MBBS degree and 01-year house job.

Work hours: Night shift from 6 pm – 3 am PKT.
