
Customer Service and Sales Professional

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Customer Service and Sales Professional to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through effective communication and negotiation skills.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a sales/customer service role, with a strong track record of successfully meeting sales quotas and resolving customer complaints. They will also possess excellent knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems, as well as the ability to learn about products and services and describe them to prospects.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about our product or service using scripts
- Answering questions about our products or services
- Asking questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
- DIRECTING prospects to the field sales team when needed
- Entering and updating customer information in the database
- Taking and processing orders in an accurate manner
- Handling grievances to preserve our reputation
You will also need to maintain accurate records of calls and sales, noting useful information for future reference.
We are looking for a professional who is cool-tempered and able to handle rejection, with outstanding negotiation skills and the ability to resolve issues and address complaints. A high school diploma is required, with a BSc/BA being a plus.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Sales: Drive sales growth by effectively communicating and negotiating with customers
- Database Management: Enter and update customer information in the database, maintaining accurate records of calls and sales
- Order Processing: Take and process orders in an accurate manner, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any issues that may arise
- Grievance Handling: Handle customer complaints and grievances in a professional and courteous manner, working to resolve issues and preserve our reputation

Requirements:- Education: High school diploma required, BSc/BA preferred
- Experience: Proven experience in a sales/customer service role
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
- Computer Skills: Proficient in CRM software and other relevant computer programs
