Merchandising Expert

As a seasoned merchandising professional, you will play a pivotal role in transforming business vision into tangible results. Our ideal candidate possesses expertise in business excellence, supply chain management, and organizational development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Trend Forecasting & Product Strategy: Collaborate with client teams to develop product strategies grounded in trend forecasting, market data, and consumer insights.
  • Assortment Planning: Guide assortment planning across categories, channels, and customer segments to ensure brand relevance and commercial success.
  • Financial Planning: Help structure merchandise financial plans including sales, margin, and inventory targets in alignment with business goals.
Demand Planning & Inventory Optimization:
  • Partner with planning and allocation teams to improve demand forecasting accuracy and reduce lost sales or overstock.
  • Support implementation of planning tools and analytics to optimize inventory across stores, warehouses, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Co-design replenishment and markdown strategies to maintain healthy inventory turnover while protecting gross margin.
Product Lifecycle & Speed-to-Market:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to shorten product development and delivery cycles through calendar discipline and process redesign.
  • Help clients build agile capsule collections or quick-response programs to capitalize on fast fashion trends.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Education**: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience**: 5+ years in merchandising, planning, sourcing, or fashion retail consulting.
Key Competencies:
  • Strategic Acumen: Strong understanding of merchandising strategies and their impact on business outcomes.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration and client engagement skills.
  • Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with hands-on planning or merchandising system experience.
