Job Opportunity

This role involves performing routine financial tasks, such as preparing and submitting periodic internal and external reports, conducting audits, and maintaining bookkeeping records. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing support on ad-hoc projects assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess new accounting standards and update existing knowledge to ensure timely implementation along with system and process development.
  • Closure of end-to-end month-end closing activities, including recording and reconciliation of monthly revenue, accruals, operating & other expenses, ensuring the reasonableness of amounts involved against previous months, variance analysis in coordination with other departments.
  • Monthly management reporting with accuracy and within timelines, preparation of monthly management accounts and group reporting pack.
  • Preparation and correct reporting of financial statements of Group companies in line with requirements of IFRS, applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordination and liaison with external, internal, and group auditors for provision of information, coordination with all concerned departments, and getting audit report as per timelines.
  • Supervision of team members and guiding them in execution of their assigned tasks, continuous review of their tasks.
  • Government subsidies receivable and other receivables management along with coordination for effective follow-ups and recovery.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses on need basis, providing insightful views into company's operations and financial performance, refine and improve different balance sheet reconciliations to identify risk and probable issues from it.
Eligibility Criteria:Education:
  • CA intern/qualified with 3-4 years of experience.
Work Experience:
  • 3 to 4 years.

Skills - Job Specific:
  • Strong and up-to-date knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and Companies Act.
  • Hands-on knowledge of auditing standards & related regulations.
  • Updated knowledge of taxation and corporate laws.
  • Working experience of Oracle ERP preferred.
  • Hands-on experience of MS Office-related products especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
