We are seeking a highly skilled Commercetools Architect to join our team in shaping the future of e-commerce platforms.

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Develop comprehensive technical architecture infrastructure designs, formulate content strategies, set up digital marketing suites, and collaborate with clients on marketing channels while monitoring client communication teams.
  2. Participate in sprint planning, project planning, production maintenance, and performance tuning to ensure seamless delivery.
  3. Design industry-specific digital architectures with roles involving analysis design, development, administration, and integration of distributed architecture applications in web-based internet/intranet, client-server environments.
  4. Create features such as multisite and multichannel delivery, content syndication, multilingual support, automated workflows, and social media integration.
  5. Determine and implement key technical constructs of the program, including setting up project review bootstrapping and recommending migration approaches.
  6. Engage with clients to create specifications and solution architectures for content collaboration solutions, providing guidance to senior developers and architects for design and implementation.
  7. Establish processes, quality gates, and standards for design and development, managing performance, security, and scalability of digital platforms.
  8. Cultivate effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization, coordinating internal and vendor development teams.
  9. Evaluate and assess the technical skills of team members, participating in critical technical issues directly.
  10. Provide technical leadership and oversight on implementation, assessing and recommending system and process changes related to the Commerce platform.
  11. Review and set standards for design, coding, and development, developing cost-effective technical solutions aligned with customer needs.
  12. Design solution architecture for enterprise applications in Commerce, Catalog, and Content Management Systems.
Skills And Experience
  1. A minimum of 8 years' experience in e-commerce, with a focus on solutioning and delivering B2B and B2C experiences.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in Commercetools or similar API-first MACH architectures.
  3. Strong expertise in AWS or other cloud infrastructure.
  4. Excellent communication skills for managing senior client stakeholders.
  5. Experience in managing technical teams across multiple geographical locations.
