Enterprise Architect Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise architecture, with expertise in e-commerce platforms and related technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends. They will also define and enforce architectural principles, guidelines, and standards that support scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as SPOC for the Architecture/Solution for the end-to-end e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy for our applications involved in the e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Define and enforce architectural principles, guidelines, and standards that support scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements, automation, and the adoption of new technologies like AI, machine learning, and personalization engines.
  • Communicate architectural strategies and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
  • Ensure the e-commerce architecture supports high availability, performance, and scalability to meet business demands, especially during peak shopping periods.
  • Implement best practices for security and data privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Establish and enforce governance processes for architectural changes, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
  • Participate in scoping, estimating efforts, etc.
  • Contribute to white papers, blogs, and Pre-Sales activities.
  • Manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
