Sales and Marketing Manager Position

This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting philanthropic support by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate, institutional and individual donors and donor organizations.

The ideal candidate will have a track record as a change agent with proven ability to develop and implement plans during growth and transition. Senior leadership experience in the areas of public, visual, and media relations; publications; advertising; website development; social media; enrollment marketing; and electronic communications is essential.

Key responsibilities include formulating, determining and effectuating fundraising strategies and donor policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization.

Demonstrated successful experience making presentations and developing strong customer relationships are must-haves. Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate succinctly and persuasively through social media are also required. Experience in creating a collegial, team-building work style and demonstrated ability to motivate staff and cultivate productive, collaborative relationships with all constituent groups is preferred.

This position requires strong analytical, leadership and organizational skills, with the capacity to focus on details in managing complex projects. The successful candidate will be able to serve as a lead writer and originator of compelling content for proposals, newsletters, brochures, websites and other communications utilized by the resource development department.
