As a Pharmacy Technician, you play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing essential services in the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Management: Stocks, assembles, and distributes medications to patients and healthcare providers with precision and accuracy.
  • Provides exceptional customer service by greeting patients and healthcare professionals, answering inquiries, and referring complex questions to pharmacists.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels by monitoring stock, anticipating needs, ordering supplies, verifying receipts, and removing outdated drugs.
  • Cultivates a safe and clean pharmacy environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ensures patient and staff safety by following infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Prepares and organizes medications for pharmacist dispensing, including reading orders, preparing labels, calculating quantities, and assembling pharmaceutical therapies with attention to detail.
  • Documents physicians' orders and prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Delivers medications to patients and departments in a timely manner.
  • Compiles reports by collecting and summarizing information to support informed decision-making.
