Financial Transaction Coordinator

This role involves electronically billing third-party patient claims, processing rejections, posting insurance payments, and performing monthly patient statement billing.
Responsibilities include timely and accurate data entry of payments received from third party payers, processing rejected and denied claims, and reconciling daily cash receipts with the database.
The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing, knowledge of various billing software applications, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Additionally, the candidate should possess basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Data entry: Accurately entering patient information and details into the Health Center database.
- Claim processing: Processing all rejected and denied claims submitted to third party payers.
- Cash reconciliation: Reconciling daily cash receipts from insurance carriers with the database.
- Problem-solving: Following up on commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid denials.
- Medical billing experience: 3+ years.
- Billing software proficiency: Understanding in utilizing various billing software applications.
- Prior healthcare experience: Preferred one (1) year of previous healthcare-related billing experience.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer skills: Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
