Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The role of a Financial Operations Manager is to oversee and manage the financial activities of an organization. This includes leading a team of accountants, managing QuickBooks, Tax, and accounting processes, reviewing and entering General Ledger transactions, and delivering exceptional professional services to clients.

  • This role requires active participation in QuickBooks, Tax, and accounting activities.
  • Leadership and supervision of a team of QuickBooks Accountants are essential.
  • Reviewing and entry of General Ledger transactions including reconciliations is crucial.
  • Delivering high-quality professional services to clients is vital.
  • Utilization of multiple cloud-based software for Tax and Accounting alongside QuickBooks is required.
  • Collaboration with team members in different regions is necessary.
  • Effective communication and interaction with clients via various channels is essential.
  • Production of accurate financial reports from QuickBooks is required.
  • Preparing and responding to client requests in a timely manner is important.
  • Troubleshooting General Ledger transaction and mapping issues is critical.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field is required.
  • ACCA/CA qualification or partial qualification is mandatory.
  • The ability to work during USA business hours (night-time job) is necessary.
  • Previous experience with QuickBooks is essential.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in QuickBooks Online, not just QuickBooks desktop.
  • A previous manager and supervisory role is required.
  • Experience in Financial Reporting is required.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills are necessary.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting entries and concepts is required.
  • High degree of computer literacy, including knowledge in Microsoft Office and Excel, is necessary.
  • Detailed-oriented with high accuracy in communication is essential.
  • Able to multitask and set daily, weekly, and monthly priorities.
  • Flexibility to work from home, with potential switch to office if needed.
  • Potential for growth into higher positions.
