Job Overview

The position of Senior Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Data Center network infrastructure. This involves managing, configuring, and optimizing network devices to ensure seamless operation of critical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for the data center.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, switches, and SFP switches.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
  • Implement and maintain network security policies to protect sensitive data.
  • Regularly update firewall rules and security configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and data security regulations.
  • Collaborate with application and server teams for effective system operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.
  • Maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in network administration, preferably in data centers.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Expertise in managing HIMS, SAP, and enterprise-level network security.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, or similar networking devices.
  • Proficiency in firewall configurations, VPN setup, and network segmentation.
  • Experience in network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid data center environments.
