Financial Management Position

Fatima Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Officer to join its dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with a proven track record of ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes.

This role involves the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, diligent oversight of general ledger activities, and supervision of accounts payable and receivable processes. Additionally, the officer will be responsible for managing fixed asset registers, establishing and monitoring depreciation schedules, and overseeing physical asset tagging and verification processes.

The successful candidate will possess a strong academic and professional background, including an ACCA or CA qualification and a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in a similar capacity. Experience gained within the energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of comprehensive financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory laws.
  • Diligent oversight of general ledger activities, including accurate journal entries, thorough reconciliations of accounts, and precise month-end closings.
  • Supervision of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors and effective collections from clients.
  • Management of fixed asset registers, establishment of depreciation schedules, and oversight of physical asset tagging and verification processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to tax regulations, filing of tax returns, and maintenance of impeccable tax records.
  • Coordination with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders throughout audits and inspections.
