Financial Accountant Job Description

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization.

  • Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
    • Ensure accurate tax reporting and inventory processing.
    • Collect and analyze data for weekly and monthly estimates.
    • Advising on estimates for project funding.
    • Create KPI reports.
    • Prepare weekly cash flow statements and control expenditure and cash flow.
    • Assist with year-end accounts and statutory accounts preparation.
    • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.
    • Conduct internal audits, including wage reviews.
    • Examine financial records for accuracy.
    • Manage and train staff when necessary.
    • Familiarity with US-based business environment required.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel is essential.
    • Excellent English Communication and Interpersonal skills required.
    • Ability to work according to US timings.
    • Flexibility with timings desired.
    • ACCA/CA/ICMA qualification preferred.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have a degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in financial accounting. You should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
