Our organization seeks a seasoned professional to take on the role of Design Specialist. This position involves leading the design, development, and implementation of solutions in the areas of Business Warehouse/In-Memory Analytics (BW/HANA). As part of our team, you will work closely with the BI Architecture Team to understand architecture/design principles and guidelines for designing and building sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into functional/technical design specifications consistent with best practices.
  • Work closely with the BI COE Team to build BW solutions that meet business needs.
  • Actively participate in development test cycles by providing support for defect resolutions and cutover/go live support activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Total 8-10 years of experience in areas of BW/HANA, with at least 2 years as a Design Lead/Solution Architect.
  • Strong technical expertise in SAP BW and HANA modeling, including extraction, transformation, and data integration.
  • Proven ability to design and implement large-scale BI solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Understanding of middleware data services tools like Business Objects Data Services, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, and SAP PO.
  • Deep understanding of ABAP programming.
  • Knowledge of SCRUM or other agile project methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
