Job Title

A creative and visual storyteller is required to join our team as a Content Creator. This role involves developing engaging and interactive content in various formats, including graphics, videos, and text, to promote our mission.

About Us:

We are a dynamic fact-checking organization dedicated to identifying, verifying, and countering misinformation and disinformation. We are proud to be the only local organization in Pakistan that is a member of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and an official partner in Meta's Third-Party Fact-Checking program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and interactive content in various formats to promote our mission.
  • Social Media Management: Regularly post content on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and other platforms, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging.
  • Platform Optimisation: Tailor content to suit the unique style and audience of each platform to maximize engagement.
  • Creative Strategy: Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and execute content campaigns that amplify our fact-checking efforts.
  • Analytics and Insights: Monitor content performance and use insights to refine and improve future posts.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in content creation, preferably in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Design and Editing Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Figma, or similar tools for creating and editing graphics and videos.
  • Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and other platforms, including their algorithms and best practices.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Urdu is required; knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.
  • Cultural Insight: A nuanced understanding of Pakistan's social and political context is essential.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Creative Mindset: Strong visual storytelling skills with a passion for creating engaging, high-quality content.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for design and ability to maintain consistency in style and branding.
