Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Development Officer to support our federal contracting business.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the U.S. federal procurement process and has strong relationship-building skills, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Analyze project requirements and identify potential opportunities for growth and development.
  • SOURCE subcontractors and vendors relevant to each project and build rapport through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Create tailored Scope of Work documents that align with subcontractor capabilities.
  • Coordinate necessary documents from subcontractors, including pricing, licenses, insurance, and certifications.
  • Draft or assist in drafting bid proposals, compliance documents, and submission packages.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, including government contracting officers and agency representatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of submissions, correspondence, and subcontractor performance.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, contract administration, or subcontract management, preferably within U.S. federal contracting.
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting terms, compliance needs, and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and contexts.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and coordinate with multiple parties simultaneously.
