Job Overview

The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations, conduct routine testing and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analytical testing using UV Spectroscopy, TLC (Thin Layer Chromatography) and extraction processes.
  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments as required.
  • Prepare samples and standards for analysis.
  • Accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records.
  • Report deviations, non-conformities and out-of-specification (OOS) results to supervisors.
  • Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety protocols.
  • Assist in method validation and calibration of equipment.
  • Support lab cleanliness and inventory management.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with UV Spectroscopy, TLC, extractions and other laboratory instruments.
  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP guidelines is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Effective communication skills for reporting discrepancies.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and data analysis software.
